Administrative obligations and procedures to be carried out
To park the furniture lift truck on the public highway during its use, the town hall of the municipality gives its authorization. In order to apply for it, we provide you with our advice for the administrative procedures for Temporary Occupation Authorization (AOT).

A notice period may be required before using the furniture lift.
Information and documents to provide for the parking permit application
When applying for a parking permit, you must provide information:
- about you (name, contact details) and about the beneficiary if it is a third party;
- on the location of the site concerned by the request (address, cadastral references);
- on the nature of the parking (type of vehicle, duration, etc.);
- on the company truck (technical data provided by our equipment rental agency).
Also prepare an ID and proof of address to obtain authorization to park the furniture lift.
Payment of tax and placing of a sticker on the furniture lift
When the request for parking of the furniture lift is accepted, the public domain management authority requests the payment of a tax. In Paris, this represents:
- €10 per half-day for a furniture lift parked on the parking strip;
- €15 per half-day for a furniture lift parked outside the parking lane.
After payment of the fee, the city issues a sticker which we place on the vehicle during the handling operation.
